Bambu Lab P1S vs Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 – Ecosystem & Model Compatibility? (Beginner Question)

I'd recommend taking a look at the QIDI Q2. I have both the Bambu P2S and Q2 and the Q2 outperforms it by miles. If your main concern is ecosystem then bambu will be a better option. Although the slicer is the same as they are both based on orca the QIDI app could use some polishing but it works. If you're focused on hardware the Q2 is better in every way and very consistent/reliable.

best 3d printer for printing functional parts, what should I consider?

We exchanged few post U1 vs Q2 and thanks for the tips👌 Got Qidi Q2 + Box last week, done few prints with PLA, all great. My 1st printer, happy with it. U1 wasnt allinone deal (no box, heated chamber) as other producers have, so would need to invest more and customize few things. That was deal breaker for beginner All printer have some issues, most of them will be fixed with FW updates and new might occur, never ending circle 😁 Vs Elegoo, Qidi is open source, more materials possible to print, small price difference. Support is very supportive answers next day.
