Seeking advice: Quiet and fast printer to replace my Neptune 3 Pro (€300–€500)

I’ve had an Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro for a little over three years now, and overall, I’m very happy with it. Up until now, it was tucked away in a corner of a small basement room, which meant I didn't use it very often. Recently, I rearranged my office and moved the printer in there. Since then, it’s been running almost non-stop, and I really enjoy watching it work. However, there are two things that are starting to bother me: I’m now looking for a new printer. I haven't missed having an AMS so far, so I don't consider it a high priority. The option to upgrade later would be nice, but it’s not a must-have. My main focus is on noise level and speed. At the moment, I’m torn between the Elegoo Centauri Carbon and the Bambu Lab P1S. Which of these two would best meet my requirements? And are there perhaps other printers in this price range (starting around €300 up to a maximum of €500) that I should consider? edit: Regarding materials, I have only printed with PLA so far. However, I would be interested in experimenting with new materials in the future. Thanks in advance! :)

Nepture 3 Pro Leveling Issues resolved

So I was having just an absolute shit time with leveling the bed on my N3 Pro, it got to a point to where if I adjusted my height from +or- .01 I would suffer from under extrusion or adheasion issues. Through out my research I came across this port in the Neptune3 subreddit After reading it and speaking with a friend of mine that has the N3 Plus or larger one I forget, but it also has manual leveling knobs from factory, so I figured whats good for the bigger couldn't hurt the smaller so I ordered this kit from Amazon. Installed it and started my journey of bed leveling, the only thing I can say is it's a 10,000% difference in printing quality, and the reduction of under extrusion and just shit quality is done, all thats left is for me to do is tweek the temps and print speeds and for a printer this old a completely new life has been put into it. My only wish was I took a picture of what the leveling looked like prior to my modifications. If you plan to do the same thing here are a couple of takeaways from this experience 1st you will need to drill out the threads that your plate currently screws into, you do not need a huge drill and only one big enough to remove the threads, do not route out the hole to something huge its not needed, only big enough to allow the replacement screwes to slide through. 2nd back left corner where the heating element is mounted to the plate, there is a plastic bracket that protects the wiring and soldier joints on the back, use the sillicone bushing for this but cut it in half, that will compensate for the height of the of the plastic.

When 3d printing people say "beginner friendly" it has nothing to do with price. Cheap printers are terrible for beginners. Bambulab printers are extremely high quality and basically plug and play. They're not the cheapest printers out there but they are very high quality and have plenty of features that makes them compete with printers twice their price. You could alternatively pick a printer that's cheaper but be prepared for 3d printing to start being a hobby not just printing toys. I personally wanted a hobby so I got a Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro and I love tinkering with it but if all you want to do is print than that's not a good route to take. Also bambulab printers have a pretty locked-down system so if you want something that's more open-source then I'd suggest a different brand.
