Anycubic vs Elegoo for beginner printers?

I have a Mars 4 (same screen) that makes amazing prints. The 5 has the benefit of faster printing due to the tilting vat. I only own Elegoo printers so can't speak to anything else. I found the Mars 4 fairly easy to approach. It doesn't matter what brand you get, the basic principles of resin printing will apply similarly in the budget consumer class. The main difference will be in the slicer. I find Elegoo Satellite pretty intuitive. It took me about a week to get familiar with it. Again, I can't compare to anything else outside the FDM space, but Satellite seems quite good. On a side note, it took about the same amount of time to know that I wanted a larger printer. I now have the Mars and a Saturn 4U 16k.

Easier resin printer for clumsy person or just give up on 3d resin printing?

So I bought a resin printer, specifically an Ultra Mars 4 Elegoo, and used it for 7 months. I managed to print close to 20 minis in this time. One day, I was moving through the cellar (I keep my printer there since it's enclosed enough that the sun doesn't get through, but it's well ventilated), and by mistake, my back foot hit the printer, splashing the resin around. Luckily, the blackout cover was on, but it splashed a bit outside the vat. I spent hours trying to be as meticulous as possible, cleaning and using alcohol, but the next time I went to print, the printer couldn't lower the plate, and I could only hear a whining noise. I tried everything to fix it, but I am considering giving up on 3D resin printing entirely, as the past 7 months have made me feel it's just not worth it if I have to struggle this much. I have tried watching YouTube videos from the Lychee channel to be prepared and make my printer last, but one mistake seems to have undone everything. I even tried applying tape around the screen to protect it in case of resin leaking, but nothing. I hope this doesn't come across as a rant. I just wish to figure out whether this model, that came cheaper, was just harder to use, or there are more pricey models that make 3d resin printing easier without consuming so much time and energy. Thanks in advance for any answer!

Are there any DLP 3d printers out there which are decent enough for <500€?

I have the Mars 4 dlp and I can say that it’s pretty simple to use. I’m a total noob and I just printed a 1/6 scale figure without a single fail.
