Elegoo Satellite Exceptionally Slow at Slicing

I’ve been getting started with my Jupiter 2 and trying to slice models using Elegoo SatelLite, but the performance is unbearably slow. I use Chitubox for my Saturn 4 Ultras. While complex models there might take a minute or two to slice or find islands on complex models, SatelLite is taking 5+ minutes just to calculate cavities or collisions. Slicing is even worse—I just waited 30 minutes for SatelLite to slice a model that Chitubox handled in 3 minutes. This shouldn't be a hardware bottleneck. My workstation: * **CPU:** AMD Threadripper 3960X * **RAM:** 128GB DDR4 3200 * **GPU:** RTX 3080 10GB Has anyone else run into this severe lag? Is this something that is normal and expected from this program, or is there some secret sauce/setting I need to toggle to make it usable? Given the hardware I'm running, it feels like a severe optimization issue with the software itself.

Elegoo Jupiter 2

Uncle Jesse had some pretty positive things to say about it. I watched his video on it last night. Obviously it isn’t perfect and has some quirks, but it seems pretty good for large volume resin print while maintaining excellent quality. I was debating on preordering one, but my Saturn 4 ultra 16k does fine for me. I don’t have a personal use for such a large printer as the Jupiter 2.

Elegoo Jupiter 2 – Refund or keep it and wait for fixes?

I bought a Jupiter 2 and after a lot of problems I wanted to return it. Hi, I bought a Jupiter 2 and after a lot of problems I wanted to return it, but they replied that they have a dedicated R&D team to solve my issues and offered me either a 100% refund or 2 kg of resin + financial compensation if I keep it. So I want to ask if you think they are able to fix the problem with the printer crashing when working with files larger than 2GB and other issues…you know what kind of problems it has…or if I should rather send it back since there is no guarantee of a fix. I don’t want to ask this on the official Elegoo subreddit.
