Jupiter 2, an actual positive review!
I know, I know! People hear Jupiter 2 and then immediately think "It's trash!" However, I'm here to say that, so far, it's pretty good, dare I say. I started with Amerilabs calibration town test, and it printed flawlessly. So I moved on to a Sylvanas Windrunner mini from the Undead pack by My3dprintforge, and the quality is superb. Then I decided to give it a huge test, and print the Jabberwock Head from Loot Studios (I printed the rest in fdm) and man, it came out great aside from one small spot and that was my mess up, I should've added more supports to that part, but it came off the supports brilliantly. I then decided to put it through a torture test and print the guns from Wicked3d's She-Spawn model, and again, they came out great. The cons: 1) The camera is pretty bad. Could definitely atleast be 1080pi. I will probably replace it with a Wix camera from Amazon, so I can watch all my printers at the same time. 2) The doors are a little annoying but I have the space for them. 3) Elegoo Matrix has the Jupiter 2 on it's app, but currently, I have no way to pair the printer because I have no QR code on the screen anywhere. I have an email sent about it. 4) I wish the print bed wasn't so thick. Cuts down on the height build. The good: 1) Slightly bigger build volume (I like big statues and I cannot lie) 2) I lucked out and got it at $849 3) the leveling is very nice, one and done kind of deal 4) Time-lapses are nice to have on the printer. 5) so far the resin refill is working, I seem to not have the "Type-1" version Groundeffected mentioned. So the big question is: Is it worth it? In my experience, at $849, it is. If you're paying more than that, though... You might be better off with the Jupiter SE. AMA I'll update this thread with more prints!

wow, the mechanical sensor on my Jupiter 2 already ate it. it tells me it detects debris when its starting to move down towards the resin tank half way. won’t calibrate.

Best Large Format Resin Printer?
None of them. The GK3 Ultra is a dumpster fire where they replaced the dual linear rails for a single machined aluminum rail and there's Z axis flex (see J3DTech's video on it). The Mega is an antique still using a matrix LED UV light source, although it's the largest currently. The Jupiter 2 hasn't been launched yet, although being auto-leveling I'm skeptical.
The Anycubic M7 Max is decent, but then you are dealing with Anycubic's crap QC and support. Jupiter SE is decent, although it's the smallest of the large format printers.
Fair warning, resin printing isn't anything like filament printing, you might as well forget what you know, you'll be starting from 0. On top of that, large format printers are more finicky to get running, so not ideal for a resin printing beginner. A lot of models are split for printing on smaller printers, or you can split them yourself when supporting. I'd suggest a Saturn 3 (non-Ultra) instead, because it's a lot easier to get running and still has 250mm of Z height (30mm more than most current auto-leveling mid size printers like the Saturn 4 Ultra). It has a smaller pixel size than all of the large format printers other than the GK3 Ultra and Jupiter 2, and still supports anti-aliasing and blur when using CTB.
