best 3d printer for beginners what did you end up buying for your first one?

Hard differences, the cc2 to can print with up to 350⁰C. First they play in the same field and can share print sheets, this 256x256 is very common, we can use the same sheets for Prusa mk3,mk4,core one,X1,p1,p2,x2, cc2. Comparing the CC2 with the P[12] series, we face same technology coreXY, one with klipper the other with a closed source marlin like clone. Hard differences, the cc2 to can print with up to 350⁰C, the canvas allows printing from dryers and feeding form any filament source, big spools for example, LAN mode is default no forced cloud account, can be used with native Orca. Pro points for the P2: active heater, much better nozzle change system, no one did that better than bambu, this 30 seconds to change a nozzle is cool. The P2 needs less footprint compared with a CC2 + PiX$L. We compare a 379€ vs 699€ system, to be fair (AMS2 is a dryer) add 100€ for a PiX4L and we compare 479€ vs 699€.

FlashForge Creator 5 Just Became My Top Recommendation

The Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 is mentioned as a printer that would take a very long time for a four-color print due to its system, similar to the Bambu P2S.

Buying a 3D printer 2026. I'm lost

I was in the same position as the OP about 2 months ago and decided to go with the CC2. Being new to 3D printing I have no comparison but my experience with it has been great, other than the occasional connectivity issue, but prints have turned out really well. I had a friend keep pushing me to Bambu but everything I read and what I got for the money CC2 seemed like a better deal. Oh, and I’ve enjoyed this hobby so much I bought a Snapmaker U1 so I can reduce waste and print faster. I need my Star Wars droids now. Ha

Buying a 3D printer 2026. I'm lost

Same thing for me, except i knew i did not want a bambu.. my choices were between creality k2 combo, qidi q2 combo and elegoo cc2 combo. Went with cc2 for price and apparently less issues with the multispool system, from what i could deduct from a lot of forum reading. My 1st printer was a creality cr6 se, which i upgraded to direct drive. The learning curve was not so bad on the cc2 and now at 300hrs, it print great and am very happy about my purchase.
