A few questions about the Creality K2 Plus - late 2025

Logged in after years just to answer and save you the trouble. Under NO circumstances buy the K2 Plus. Short answer: It cannot reliably handle any material but PLA - and you will only receive dedicated support with creality brand Hyper PLA (c). My K2 Plus broke down completeley within 2 weeks, so I used my right to return. Took creality three months to accept the printer back, including me escalating over several channels for them to speed it up. Issues are known with ABS and ASA internally, which service confirmed. Starts to have technical issues with PETG. Go Bambulab and save the hassle. So if you don't mind having a "juniors first 3D-Printer" wrapped in a Flagship cosmetic, go ahead. But if you have any requirements beyond printing the simplest of materials, make a WIDE birth around this POS. I was a creality customer since ender 3, now will never buy anything related to creality ever again. Shit company with shit products at this point. My 2 cents.

Pulled the trigger. One small leap for man, one giant leap for me.

I’ve got like 600 hours on my k2 plus combo with no problems at all.. everything prints clean and I rarely use anything but the iOS app for slicing unless I need to do multi-color. All I do is PLA, maybe trouble comes with higher temperatures? 🤷 enjoy!

I wanna buy a 3d printer

Your vendetta is palpable, and you’re just wrong. Show me on the doll where they hurt you. I’ve had long-term use of printers from Qidi and Creality where I wish you were correct. Qidi continues dropping turds to this day, and literally just dropped the Max 4 - and it doesn’t work. Even shill reviewers on YouTube have said as much because it’s so bad they don’t want their audience pissed at them saying it’s even halfway decent. Creality K2 Plus is a terrible machine for a print farm, and it regularly screws up prints and overloads filament. The Ender series also ended many hobbyists 3d printer fascination in the cradle because of what a frustrating printer it is to use. Prusa is an awesome company, but has had issues too. Back in the day the bed leveling process and how in the weeds you had to be to get good prints was frustrating. They released Core One, and while great, it had legit bugs and print quality issues showing particularly bad VFA’s they eventually ironed out. AnyCubic is your example of a good company? Cool story. Kobra X copied the A1 and really doesn’t save you that much versus Bambu, but I’ll at least agree this one is good. The others? I’d pay more and get more from someone else.
