Time for a glass plate?

I got it to .4ish now but got some abs and am printing new spacers and maybe an adjustable z carriage I found on printables if needed. I know Creality isn’t great with quality control but dang it looks like they didn’t even try with the k1 series with how common this is.

Resurrection of my QIDI Plus 4

The creator praises his heavily modified Creality K1 for its extremely fast bed meshing (15 seconds for 255 points) and its modifiability, contrasting it favorably with the Qidi Tech Plus 4. He notes that he invested in upgrades and bypassed its original truncated Klipper firmware to achieve its current performance.

Creality vs bambu lab reliability?

My K1 is not reliable. It has an under extrusion problem that I still can't figure it out. Its easier to pray and hope the printer works than actually making it work. I also have a couple of Bambulab A1 that work just fine and are much easier to diagnose.

Creality K2 Standard: The Filament Graveyard, the ultimate poop master.

The creator previously reviewed the Creality K1 Standard, finding it a decent machine for basic printing, and still recommends it for single-color printing despite its current state.

alternatives to Bambulab for a first time user ?

I ended up getting a k2 combo, it gave me the multi color. Creality is mainly open source (as of now) and I had a k1 before that was great, and custom service actually helped a lot with any problems that popped up. I know it's not a huge favorite for 3d printers, but I really like the mobile capabilities that it has.
