Thoughts on the Ender 5 Max?

<image> The printer has been running almost non-stop for about a month now. The biggest challenge was manually adjusting the print settings—despite using the same materials, some fine-tuning was still needed. The printer is a great addition for printing large parts. In terms of quality, it’s not that far behind the Bambu, but it’s important to note that you should be prepared to spend several hours on calibration. Perfect for printing large parts. Perfect for printing large parts in a single color.

Print quality differences from Elegoo Carbon, ender 5 Max & K1 Max

The creator observes that prints from the Ender 5 Max are more see-through, possibly due to squished first layers, and notes its quality is comparable to the K1 Max despite being significantly cheaper.

Any proper review on the ender 5 max?

I bought one for work and its "OK" it has many flaws and issues but overall it prints nice and its fast/consistent the main issues: 1- no manual adjustments for the bed edges so it warps badly... I made these to help this issue ( https://www.crealitycloud.com/model-detail/6810d703f8576ee3f9fb0c12?source=22 ) 2 - the firmware is a locked out version of klipper so it has possibilities but still extremely limited especially to advanced users 4- no bed probe it uses the nozzle which will dent your build plate overtime singe its a soft silicone based metal sheet 4- creality seems to have shifted focus onto the multi color machines and left this in the dust.

Creality ENDER 5 Max | Huge 3D printer, small price! (2025 test)

The Creality Ender 5 Max is a very large 3D printer offering a substantial build volume at a low price. It focuses on essential features, providing good performance for its cost despite some missing conveniences and requiring profile adjustments for optimal print quality.

Any good quality review of creality ender 5 max?

Ok...I have it. First there is problem with heated bed. They have recall of printers because of potential fire hazard. So they send me new bed. Second...there is no way to print petg, asa, abs... Because you cant preheat bed over 50 degrees.  And all materials which need higher bed temperature of bed cant be used. So you have to root printer if you want to print something else then pla. Third problem is that bed is bend. I don't know if is bed or y axis, because if I put glass sheet over bed and make new bed mesh leveling it shows exactly same bended mesh. So if you are beginner and don't know how to solve all this problems this printer is not for you. And 800e for machine which need a lot of effort to make it work properly? No thank you... Another thing is that machine is really loud.  And you have to buy enclosure and nebula cam in this case price rises to 1000e. But if you are willing to make some updates on it and make some modifications it is great machine after all. It prints great and it is really fast.
