Has anyone tried the new Ender 3 V4 ?

I have one, works well. Worth it? Idk I guess it depends on how you prioritize things and what you’re looking for. I run Linux, my prints never touch a cloud service… Unlike the Bambu A1 mini the CFS is enclosed, which I like because otherwise you’re paying for an enclosure to keep your filament dry when you install it over an aquarium. Historically, Creality has been more open source, I haven’t messed with the Ender 3 V4 under the hood yet, and so will refrain from commenting there. It has a decent little auto-calibration routine and so far has handled everything I threw at it well. I imagine performance is similar to the A1 mini. Next to the X1C I’ve had similar quality prints if I make a point to heat the space a bit and reduce drafts…. But not being enclosed I’ve had a couple of issues with warping, especially near the bed edge and particularly the side facing the door… but it’s also been like 35F with kids running in and out. Only a couple of prints had that particular issue. Had to do over again, with the same priorities I would have ended up with the same machine - even in hindsight. That said, I do intend to build an enclosure for more sensitive prints. <image> Attached is a photo of the first benchie I did. It’s a bit more tolerance sensitive than the X1C and that can be seen with some of the inconsistency with layer height here… but it’s pretty much the same result in similar time with better PLA. I don’t have a Bambu A1 mini to compare it to so, uhm. For now we get it performing admirably against a printer that was 4X its cost after all the the add-ons for each. The Ender 3 V4 has an improved chassis design over the HI.

Creality Hi or Ender 3 V4 Combo?

Creality Hi. I OWN one and its fantastic quality prints for the price. I bought it at 3DPrima for 350€ including combo. It has better linear rails and its more stable. The volume print is larger than the ender 3 v4. It is more reliable as what I can say, because its a very solid printer. The ender 3 v4 is basically brand new and there isn't any community which can help you on troubleshooting or problems.

Been thinking about going CoreXZ for my E3V2, but even Creality themselves stopped using coreXZ for the Ender 3 V4, why?

I can’t help but notice that they ditched coreXZ and returned to Z screws with the E3V4. Does anyone know why yet? It seemed pretty unique, and in my opinion probably quite cost effective since in theory it gave the benefits of a belted Z and Dual X motors simultaneously all without adding another motor. Or does coreXZ have downsides that i don’t know about? Since i’ve been considering turning my Ender 3 V2 into a coreXZ like the V3 and V3 plus, there must have been a pretty good reason Creality swayed away from it with the V4.

Has anyone tried the new Ender 3 V4 ?

So, I've had mine for 1 month, very good quality, I have the K1 and the Ender 3v3 xz so I can compare well. The screen could be a bit bigger, but I select the CFS colors on the app or PC anyway. Another point is that besides auto-inspection of the bed, it also happens with the print head. The bed heats up completely, even the corners, I always used 60 on all of them, and it heats up to the very last corner. I've already printed 14-hour projects with it, without any problems. Its Wi-Fi seems slower compared to others, I've already had to turn it off and on for it to connect to Wi-Fi. Mine is only in English and Chinese, I don't know if they bought and resold it tomorrow in Brazil. I got it on promotion for 3600.00 at mm.
