Anycubic Kobra S1 Max the right choice?

Problem so far is clogging. Large 1st layer prints sometimes cause molten filament in the nozzle to climb up to the cold part of the nozzle. When it prints it looks good. Problem so far is clogging.  Large 1st layer prints sometimes cause molten filament in the nozzle to climb up to the cold part of the nozzle. When this happens, there is nothing you can do other than changing the nozzle. There is no mechanism to unclog that filament from so far up the nozzle. I have changed the nozzle 4 times in a week. Another thing to notice, even tho it is easy to change the nozzle, if you change the size of the nozzle the firmware forces a complete full re-calibration which takes almost an hour.

Sixth printer in the farm… first one I actually paid for

I just bought me a u1 as well, it now joins my P1S, CC1, KobraX, & Kobra S1 Max. They are all work horses and I have 0 problems with any of them. the U1 has been chugging right along with it with out skipping a beat. Print some Hula Feet for it they make a world of difference.

Is Anycubic that bad??

A Quick TLDR about Anycubic Printers from someone with 1200h on the Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo: Hardware Specs are Great, but Quality of Parts are Awful. They fix almost everything except the most Important Part which they to this day have not fixed on all of their Printers. THE BED. From Factory all their Beds are uneven AF. Its bad. we are talking about a Range of 0.4 on the BEST FLATTEST they ever made. The average is 0.6-0.8 for Anycubic. It gets worse. if you have 0.4 the Software Bed Leveling is so bad it doesnt even work. This Means every Print has a 50% or higher Chance it will lose Adhesion and fall of the Bed or the Prints will fail. They said "on the Kobra S1 Max we improved the Bed" But they also said this on: Kobra 2> Kobra 2 Neo> Kobra 3> Kobra 3 Max > Kobra 3 V3 > Kobra S1 And look what happend. Still the same. They have not changed one thing the last 5+ Years... If you drew a Straight line with your Hands without a Ruler it would be more straight than an Anycubic Bed Im currently on my 4th OEM replacement Bed from Anycubic Support. Still bad. I still have the Old ones so i can show everyone how bad they are Stay away if you dont want to troubleshoot every Prints and replace everything after every Print
